Background information

This large-scale experiment aims to measure how well hearing rehabilitation is working, and use the information to improve hearing rehabilitation for individual clients in the future. It is funded under a competitive grant from the international hearing industry research consortium, has the cooperation of the leading providers of hearing services in Australia. It is being organised and supervised by NAL and analysed by NAL and the Australian Institute of Health Innovation.
